About Us
Luna Theatrics is a welcoming, inclusive, amateur musical theatre group based in Bath, UK for adults (18+)
Founded in 2023, Luna Theatrics has grown into a blossoming community of like-minded individuals who enjoy performing and production arts.
We rehearse in Weston, Bath with performances happening in venues across the historic city.
We currently put on two full-scale productions a year, usually in Spring (usually March) and Autumn (usually September).
Currently, rehearsals are held on Monday and Thursday evenings.
A Note from Our Founders
We founded Luna Theatrics with a simple idea, we wanted to create a space where anyone could experience the joy of theatre. Not just watch it but be part of it.
What started as two strangers, who bonded one evening over a shared love of theatre has grown into a welcoming, creative community of people who bring their time, talent, and energy to every production. Beyond the pride we have in what we’ve achieved together, Luna has always been and continues to be about more than putting on shows. It’s about creating a space where people feel safe to try something new, to challenge themselves, and to find their place, whether that’s centre stage, backstage, or somewhere in between. This group has brought us so much joy and adventure but above all else it’s gifted us the most wonderful group of friends.
We believe theatre should be open to everyone. You don’t need professional experience or formal training, just excitement, commitment, and a willingness to try. Some of our members join because they’ve always loved performing, some haven’t performed since school, and others join because they’ve never done it before but want to give it a go. What connects us all is a shared belief in the power of live performance to bring people together.
Luna Theatrics exists because of the people who show up, who rehearse after long days of working, who build and play and sew and light. It’s for those who give their time for the joy of it, who endlessly support each other and lift each other up (both physically and metaphorically).
We’re proud of the community we’re building in and around Bath, and we’re so grateful to everyone who continues to make it possible.
